FINAL EASE OF STRICT LAW IN CHINA

After pressure from animal welfare organizations such as Humane Society International and Cruelty Free International and also some of the largest corporations on the planet, China is gradually relaxing its laws on animal testing. Considering the size of China's cosmetics market, this is very good news for animal rights activists as well as consumers who only use cruelty-free cosmetics.

With the abolition of animal testing requirements, big cosmetic brands will no longer have to finance animal cruelty in order to enter the Chinese market. This is a big step towards an ethical and compassionate beauty industry and we hope more brands follow suit. Some of the brands that will join the cruelty-free list are Dove, Herbal Essences, Wet n’ Wild, Physicians Formula, Aussie, Simple and many others.
